Strategic Policy Group met in Brussels

Successful Strategic Policy Group meeting in Brussels at the representation of Baden-Württemberg to the EU in order to discuss the importance of medium-sized cities in future cohesion policy. Thank you to our host for the hospitality and to all speakers and participants for the fruitful debate and valuable inputs.

Signing of Cohesion Alliance and meeting with the President of the CoR

Our President, Christian Gangl, and our Vice-President, Serena Foracchia, signed yesterday officially the Cohesion Alliance for the Eurotowns Network at CoR. They were welcomed by the President of the CoR, Karl-Heinz Lambertz, in order to discuss together how to increase the involvement of medium-sized cities in the future cohesion policy.

“TT Culture met in Leeuwarden”

On 22 and 23 March 2018 the Eurotowns Culture Task Team met in Leeuwarden, Cultural Capital of Europe 2018, in order to share knowledge and good practices in the creative and cultural sector. Many Eurotowns members attended the meeting: Schiedam, Girona, Manresa, Reggio Emilia, Varberg, Detmold, Haarlem and Hasselt.

Eurotowns cities of Sabadell and Girona, Reggio Emilia and Gävle approved projects on Interreg Europe 2nd Call!

Following the decision of the Interreg Europe Monitoring committee, 66 Projects were approved under 2nd Call of Interreg Europe. The Eurotowns community has been very successful and four cities of the Network – Sabadell, Girona, Reggio Emilia and Gävle – will participate in two approved projects.

General Assembly 21-22/10/2016
